Wisdom Teeth
Wisdom teeth are the third molars that erupt last at the very back of the mouth, usually during the late teens or early 20s. Wisdom teeth may not need to be removed, however, wisdom teeth can often cause various dental problems. Sometimes it will be recommended that problematic and painful wisdom teeth be removed.
Wisdom teeth extractions are performed to solve an active problem such as pain, swelling, decay or infection, or as a preventative measure to avoid serious problems in the future.
